Wyndham has announced that properties will be changing categories (called tiers in the Wyndham ecosystem) on Tuesday 26, 2024. No list is provided but if you book now and a property increases in price you’ll keep the current pricing and if it decreases in price they will provide a refund for the lower rate. Wyndham is stating that 3% will be moving to a higher tier and 4% to a lower tier.
Wyndham is making a negative change to Vacasa properties. Prices will be as follows:
Rentals with an average cost of $250/night will be 15,000 pts/bedroom/night.
Rentals with an average cost of $500/night will be 30,000 pts/bedroom/night.
Previously you could get up to 2.6¢ per point on Vacasa properties, now it’s 1.8¢.
