The Offer
Ardent Credit Union is offering a checking bonus of up to $700. Bonus is broken down as follows:

Enroll your debit card in your mobile wallet to earn
Get 7.50% cash back per month, up to $50 cash back per month (for the first 12 months) when the following requirements are met:
Get qualifying recurring direct deposits totaling $100 or more
Receive eStatements
Make 8 debit card transactions
The Fine Print
Offer valid only on Cashback Checking accounts opened between February 6, 2024 and June 30, 2024.
The monthly bonus is available for 12 consecutive months for new accountholders who qualify.
However, this offer may end at any time.
New checking accountholders only.
A checking accountholder is considered new if they have not been primary or secondary owner on an Ardent checking account in the last 12 months.
Must meet membership eligibility of living, working, worshipping, volunteering or attending school in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia Counties. Relatives and household members of current Ardent members may also be eligible.

Promotion Code (CK700) must be entered at new account opening to be eligible for this offer and cannot be added to an account at a later date. Ardent Credit Union reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion that an account is ineligible for the promotion because the activity on the account was limited to only the actions needed to qualify for the bonus.
A qualifying account must be funded, remain open and in good standing to receive the bonus.
Qualifying accounts earn the standard 1.50% cash back (up to $10 per month) on net debit card purchases.
This offer adds a monthly cash back bonus, which is an additional 6.00% cash back on net debit card purchases.
For example, $100 of debit card purchases would result in $1.50 in standard cash back for a qualifying account.
The cash back bonus on $100 would be 6.00% of $100, which equals $6.00.
In total, the account would earn $7.50 ($1.50 standard cash back + $6.00 cash back bonus) for the month, which is 7.50% cash back. The standard cash back will appear at the start of the next month.
The cash back bonus will appear within 3 business days after the start of the month.
This is a 12 month promotion.
Month one is the account opening month and it continues for the next 11 months.
For example, an account opened March 15, 2024 will earn on net debit card purchases during March (Month 1) through the end of February 2025 (Month 12).
To earn the $50 eBanking login bonus, the member must register for eBanking and login within 30 days of account opening. The eBanking bonus will be paid within 30 days of the action completion. To earn the $50 mobile wallet bonus, the member must successfully register their Ardent Visa debit card with either Apple Pay or Android Pay within 30 days of account opening.
The mobile wallet bonus will be paid within 30 days of the action completion. PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible for the bonus, regular deposit and transaction activity consistent with normal day-to-day spending patterns must be evident during the promotional period (365 days from account opening date). Limit one Cashback Checking account per member.

Our Verdict
A lot of requirements you need to meet for 12 months. You also need to spend $666+ per month on the debit card. Previously they offered a smaller bonus for $350 with a lot less requirements.
