The subscription cost is a discounted rate of $2.99 per month for the first three months.

The Fine Print
SB will appear as Pending for 32 days. SB may be revoked if subscription is cancelled within 30 days.
Elsewhere it states: SB may be revoked if subscription is cancelled within 8 days.

Our Verdict
It might be possible to get away with just one month payment which would make this an ~$8 moneymaker. (My guess is cancelling after 8 days will be fine – it will keep the subscription through 30 days and trigger the Swagbucks credit.)
