Wells Fargo Launches ‘Wells Fargo Autograph Journey’ Card With 60,000 Points Signup Bonus

  • by

Update 3/20/24: Card is live at this link. We learned today that the 3x category is on both travel and restaurants. Updated below. Also note, the $50 airline credit resets on the first of the month after the annual fee posts.

Update 3/6/24: Full details have now been released:

Sign up bonus

60k points points when you spend $4,000 within three months
70k points when you spend $4,000 within three months for Wells Fargo Premier clients

$95 annual fee
Card earns at the following rates:

5x on hotels
4x on airlines
3x on travel and restaurants
1x on all other purchases

$50 annual statement credit for airfare purchases
Ability to transfer to airline and hotel programs starting April 4, 2024 (1:1 unless otherwise stated)

Avianca LifeMiles
British Airways Executive Club, Iberia Plus, Aer Lingus Aer Club
Air France KLM Flying Blue
Choice Privileges (1:2)

March 9 launch date.

Seems like it’ll be worth getting for the sign up bonus but not worth keeping long term.

Update 2/2/24: It looks like this card will launch in March with two different sign up bonuses:

60k points points when you spend $4,000 within three months
70k points when you spend $4,000 within three months for Wells Fargo Premier clients

Looks like you’ll also be able to pool points between different Wells Fargo cards.

Original post: We just posted that Wells Fargo filed trademarks for the Autograph Journey & Autograph Beyond. We now have confirmation that the Autograph Journey is a new card that will be released. Details are as follows:

$95 annual fee
60,000 points after $4,000 in spend within the first four months
3x points on  Entertainment, Food/Drink Establishments, Fuel/Charging Stations, Telecommunication Services, Transport, Travel (same as current Autograph card)

I’d be beyond surprised if the Autograph Beyond isn’t a new card (well it could very well be a rebranding of the current card). 60,000 points has the potential to be very lucrative if there is also 1:1 transfer partners.
