Update 11/6/23: The Paceline card is coming back, currently it’s on waitlist. “We’re relaunching our wellness cashback credit card with enhanced benefits and richer rewards. Staying healthy is getting even more rewarding.” (ht to reader CreditGuy)
Update 2/22/23: Paceline has now updated the F.A.Q and stats the apple watch reimbursements will be paid out in full.
If you were actively enrolled in the Qualifying Fitness Device (Apple Watch) Purchase Reimbursement program prior to today, this is the final week that you will receive a weekly statement credit to your Paceline Card for hitting your Streak. By March 31, you will receive a statement credit for the full remaining balance (up to $429) of your Apple Watch. This credit will be issued to the balance of your Paceline Card or, upon the closure of your account, issued directly via check in conjunction with any credit balance refunds.
Original post: Paceline has sent out an e-mail to cardholders that effective February 23, 2023 the card will no longer be usable. One of the benefits of the card was statement credits for an Apple Watch Series 7 if you met your activity goal. Unfortunately this benefit will end on 3/31 or when your card is closed, whichever is sooner.
You’d hope they would be forced to honor the statement credits for the Apple Watch series 7 as many wouldn’t have made the purchase if they knew this was going to happen. Worse than just losing out on a regular sign up bonus. I’d recommend filing a complaint with the CFPB in the hopes they are forced to honor this promotion.
