Cardless has partnered with Simon Property Group to launch the Simon American Express Credit Card from Cardless. It has the following benefits:
Sign up bonus of $150 after $1,000 in spend within the first 90 days
Card earns at the following rates:
Up to 5% back at participating Simon destination retailers and on select online purchases
Up to 3% back on all other eligible purchases at Simon Malls, Mills and Premium Outlets (excludes Simon gift cards)
Max $10,000 in combined 5% and 3% categories each calendar year
1.5% back on all other eligible purchases, worldwide, in in-store purchases using Apple Pay or Google Wallet
1% back on everything else
Card will run on the American Express payment network
Most people on this blog know of Simon due to the gift card deals. (I assume those purchases will only earn 3% back and even then that doesn’t seem sustainable. They exclude gift cards from the 3% category; it only earns 1.5%.)
